Our next major event is Lunken Airport Days and Warbird Fly-In May 2-3. Cheryl Popp, chair of the Airport Days event, outlined plans at the last meeting. She will not be at the April meeting, so contact her directly with any questions or to volunteer. Jonathon Hardwick, Todd Winemiller and Jim Stitt are organizing the Warbird Fly-In. Phillip Rountree will be conducting mandatory training of volunteers who want to marshal aircraft. Contact Phillip to sign-up. We need a minimum of 10 volunteers for each shift, in addition to the warbird fly-in volunteers. Security scrutiny has increased this year, so staffing levels are critical.
